A&H Archery Riser Information Page

The purpose of this page is to assist customers in understanding the differences in risers we offer. There are pictures to show a close up of the throat area of each riser and also a picture showing the sight picture of each riser.There will also be information to help understand the difference between a standard wrist riser or a low wrist riser.

14" ST Riser Details

  • Circumference of the throat on ST is 4-1/16", front to back 1-1/2'' width 1'' 
  • Picture on the left has a black line to show the 3/8" drop of the wrist if you select a ST low wrist.
  • The most noticeable difference between an ST and JK is the added material in the throat area.

  • Circumference of the throat on JK is 4-3/8", front to back 1-11/16'', width. 1''
  • Picture on the left has a yellow line to show the 3/8" drop of the wrist if you select a JK low wrist.
  • The most noticeable difference between an ST and JK is the added material in the throat area.

14" 3D Riser Details

  • Circumference of the throat on 3D is 3-5/8". front to back 1-3/8'' and width 1-1/4''
  • There is not a wrist variation available on this riser. What you see is what you get.
  • The most noticeable difference with this riser is the emphasized locater grip shape.
  • The max weight of limbs that can be used is 50#'s. If that does not fit your specifications check out the 3DH or you can always go with an aluminum 3D riser.

14" 3DH Riser Details

  • Circumference of the throat on 3DH is 4-1/16". front to back 1-7/16'' and width 1-1/32''
  • There is not a wrist variation available on this riser. What you see is what you get.
  • This riser is very similar to the 3D riser but with added material in the throat area.
  • This riser does not have the 50# restriction that the regular 3D riser has.

14" RC Riser Details

  • Circumference of the throat on RC is 4-3/4", front to back 1-5/8'',and width 1-3/8''
  • This riser is larger to hold on to than the other 14" Risers.
  • Notice the larger palm swell on riser in comparison to others.

RC2 Details

  • Circumference of the throat on RC2 is 5-3/16'' Front to back 1-7/8'' Width 1-1/8''
  • Weighs in at 29oz
  • The RC2 is very similar to the JT riser because they both have the Hoyt high wrist format
  • This riser can be modified to be a low, medium, or high wrist.
  • The RC2 has no finger groves

JT & JT Lite 6061 Aluminum Details

  •         Circumference of the throat on the JT is 4-7/16’’, Front to Back 1-1/2’’, and width 1-1/8’’
  •         Hoyt high wrist format.
  •         This Riser Grip can be modified to be a low, medium, and high wrist.
  •          and light or standard models 
  •        Standard weighs in at 28.5 oz and Lite weighs in at 23.4 oz

3D & 3D Lite 6061 Aluminum Details

  •        Circumference of the throat on the 3D 4-3/8’’ with leather grip Front to Back 1-3/8’’ with leather grip, and width 1-1/4’’ with leather grip
  •        This Riser can be modified by cutting self-past center and having a burger button, you can get either a rubber or leather grip and you can get the 3D in either light or standard weight
  •        Standard 3D weighs 31oz and Lite with burger button weighs 26oz
